Presentation

The Cetie document database exclusively contains documents that have been validated by experts from its working groups. These experts — representatives from industry, manufacturers, users, and technical bodies — collaboratively develop the content through a structured process of peer review, enquiry, and technical validation.

As an international technical centre with a focus on pre-standardisation, Cetie ensures the coordination, structuring, and dissemination of this work. It guarantees version traceability, transparency of the validation process, and the availability of technical documents according to defined access profiles.

Access to this database is open to anyone with a basic user account, without needing to be a working group member.
Account creation is free and available upon request.

All usage is subject to our General Terms of Use (GTCU).

Withdrawn or Replaced Documents

Some documents may be withdrawn from the database, which is indicated in red in the document’s history.
This may occur in two cases:

  • The document has been replaced by an official standard:
The standard then becomes the sole reference to be used. The original Cetie document is removed from public download but may still be accessed upon request as a bibliographic reference, only by Cetie members and under confidential conditions.
  • The document has been deemed obsolete by the expert group:
It is no longer in use or relevant for current industrial practices and is therefore retained for archival purposes only.

Explore Cetie Resources

For broader access to related content, our showcase website cetie-standard.com features a cross-search engine that allows users to explore:

  • The library of published documents
  • The FAQs – Questions to our experts
  • The technical glossary
  • And our in-depth articles on the evolution of practices

This platform enables a more comprehensive and contextual understanding of Cetie’s resources, offering clarity, background, and technical insight.
