Cetie plays a major role in the pre-standardisation and publication of technical documents related to the bottling of food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical products. These documents, developed by consensus among the association's members, define the geometries of neck finishes and closures for glass and PET packaging, providing usage recommendations and best practices for design, production, and control.
Development of Voluntary Standards and Guides: Expert groups, organised by sector of activity or type of packaging, initiate work topics. Enquiries and meetings are organised to produce the final version of a document, published based on unanimous consensus within the group.
Why Use Cetie Documents? Cetie documents promote dialogue among stakeholders, establishing a common language and helping to improve policies and quality management. Particularly useful in case of quality disputes, these documents are free and available on the Cetie website.
Access to Documents: Upon simple request via the contact tab, a user account can be created to access downloads. The user account allows for downloading documentation, and accessing the multilingual glossary, the technical FAQ, and the image bank. Please note that some of the documents mentioned here may have been replaced by CEN or ISO standards, or removed. These indications will be specified when accessing the library.
