Cetie at plastic caps and closures 2017 conference

Cetie will participate in the PLASTIC CAPS AND CLOSURES 2017 CONFERENCE on the 8th of November.
The two days meetings will be held at HOTEL NOVOTEL AMSTERDAM CITY, on November, 7th & 8th 2017.

 

 

Nicholas Harris is General Secretary of Cetie, the Paris-based inter-professional organization publishing reference documentation for the bottling industries worldwide, a position he has held since 2010. Previously he worked for more than 30 years in Saint-Gobain Verallia (glass packaging) in R & D, industrial investments, product conformity and environment/sustainability. In his role in Cetie, he ensures support to the Chairs for all the expert Working Group meetings held to collectively develop and publish reference documentation in all the fields covered - essentially bottling in PET and glass. He is also convenor of CEN working groups for these fields, in particular, CEN TC261/SC5/WG25 “Rigid plastic packaging”.

He will introduce Cetie organisation and standardisation activities in the PET & Plastic packaging fields.
